How to get the numerical IP host of your proxy?

There are certain software that does not accept the default host name of the proxy (ex. new-york1.thesocialproxy.com) and requires the numerical value instead. Our proxy with default host name can also have its numerical equivalent and here’s how you can get it, kindly check the video below.

Step 1: Open the Command Prompt on your desktop computer.

Step 2: Key in ping default hostname (ex. ping new-york1.thesocialproxy.com for 5G US NY Proxy or use the other default Hostname of your proxy in other region ) then hit Enter

Step 3: Just wait for the ping statistics to show and copy the IP address.

Numerical IP host

24.199.66.78:10000:username:password

And that’s it, the numerical equivalent of the default host name. This goes the same on all your proxies under the specific region.

Please take note that this numerical IP is not permanent, you need to check in a couple of days to see if it changed.
